"Winter Glow" is a 12x24 on canvas. I have always loved pretty things and the stark grays of winter have always seemed depressing to me. In the piece I celebrate the beauty of a snowy island with a magical glow- Northern Lights- inspired. With my daughter and family living in Alaska those Northern Lights and snowy life are on my mind quite often.
 
To add a little unique character to this painting I decided to make the snow out of familiar hymns- "Blessed Assurance" and "Trust and Obey."
 
The size of this painting is skinny vertically and long, similar to what you would see with a panoramic picture.
